2 suggestions:
1. Despite your enthusiasm, ride day 1 at 10 to 20% less than you feel like. You will be eagar, but save a little- hold yourself back a tad. Days 3 and 4 will be much easier if you back off a little at the start. So if you normally avg 15 mph, ride say 13 to 14. Keep a little in reserve.
