Transportation logistics have become quite challenging for me because several previous options have fallen through recently.  I'm leaving my car in Winston Salem before start the ride in Eden, and I'm seeking transportation from Oriental, NC to Winston Salem/Lewisville for me and my "trusty steed" (AKA my bike) on the evening of Saturday October 9th or morning of Sunday, October 10th after the conclusion the ride.  Please call me ASAP if you are willing to help, or know someone else who may be.  You may reach me at 301-649-5061 home (until 12:00 midnight), 301-496-0275 work, or 301-675-5123 (cell) and I will be very glad to hear from you.
 
If you know anyone else who's just traveling that direction on that weekend and would like some company for the journey, please let me know.  (Afterall, it is all about the journey!)  At this stage, I'm not too proud to call anyone bc I am very anxious to get these logistics worked out as soon as I can.  I will check this email address at night, but given the time sensitivity of these arrangements, I'm much more inclinded to talk w people by telephone if possible.  The place I'm hoping to be dropped off is my brother's house where I can safely leave my car for the week, right off I-40 and Route 421 in Winston Salem, Lewisville/Clemmons, so it should be convenient for anyone traveling West along I-40.  I'm glad to provide gas money, or other appropriate compensation.  Thanks so much for your help.  Bob Vollinger

I'm taking the CNC bus from Oriental to Sparta, on Sunday, after the ride.  I'll have my car in Sparta, and will be driving to Clemmons from there.  If you get on the bus in Oriental, I would be glad to give you a ride from Sparta to Lewisville.
