Please stop by our concession stand when you check-in in Washington.  We'll be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers (vege burgers available), serving up a great homemade pasta salad and Outer Banks Style clam chowder, and have chips, drinks and water.  This is a fund raiser with all proceeds going towards the construction of the Patrick Harris Cochran Skate Park.  Local businesses and individuals have provided overwhelming support with donations, so that all money raised will go towards the project.  The skate park will be located at the site where we'll be serving.

Patrick Cochran was my son.  On Aug 30, 2003, he was killed in a tragic auto accident.  A 13 year old athlete and avid skater, Patrick's greatest dream was to have a safe place to skate in Washington. Our community is now in the process of fund raising, with hopes to break ground in the Spring.
