Greetings fellow campers,

Just a gentle reminder that camp quiet time is from 10pm-6am. Please repsect your fellow campers and allow them all the sleepy time they might require. This doesn't mean you have to go to bed at 10:00, just means you need to be quiet. Also a note for the early risers who arise to greet the day at 4am, unzip their tent zipper with great enthusiasm and promptly wake up everyone within 50 feet........unzip it slooooowly, its much quieter that way.

Regarding the 3am port-a-potty run....Gently close the door as you enter and exit so it doesn't slam shut. Also refer to above regarding proper tent zipper opening procedure.

Cell phones: between 10-6, turn the ringer off please.

Litter: There should be no evidence of your stay beyond compressed grass and a dry spot where the dew did not condense.

In short, a little consideration will go a long way towards making CNC much more enjoyable for all of us. Thanks in advance for your consideration! Have a great trip!!!

As a five-time CNCer, and two-time BRAGer, the Port-a-poty door slamming is clearly the biggest offense. Lets hear it again for Ms. Manners. Yea!! Yea!!

Right on, Miss Manners.  To continue the cell phone line of thought, remember that when you're in your tent you're not in an isolation booth,  I've heard some pretty jucy cell-phone conversations while trying to go to sleep in camp.

Well the way i see it...you are camping with alot of people and we all are different and things are not going to be perfect, so for those that has done cycle north carolina before , you know that you can aspect things like this....and if you can't deal with it ,  well camp inside......we all can try to be quite but with this many people ,,,well just enjoy the ride everyday and don't worry about the small stuff........

Yes mr Manner, There are going to be a lot of people camping, and we will all disturb each other to some extent. Some degree of tolerance should be expected of everybody! But.........thoughtless (slamming port-a-potty doors), inconsiderate (cell phones ringing at all hours), and downright rude behavior (partying noisily at midnight) is beyond any reasonable level of tolerance that considerate campers should have to endure. The purpose of my note was not to put a damper on your fun, but rather to decrease the level of annoyances the rest of us need to deal with.

Kind regards,

Miss Manners.

All of the above.....but don't forget the earplugs...anyone who has "camped" indoors knows that that is not an option....for me,  after the first day sound sleep comes VERY easily....however, being considerate is never a bad thing....
