The Rollin' Round the River benefit bike tour Sept. 22nd in Wilkesboro is a great tune up for Cycle North Carolina.
The RRRR is 50 miles over rolling terrain, with rest stops at historical attractions. No clock is ticking, so you can take it at your own pace...just like CNC! Riders from 8 to 75 had a ball on last year's tour.
The Rollin Round the River Ride begins at 9 a.m. at the Wilkes Family YMCA on N.C. 268, 1.5 miles west of U.S. 421 in Wilkesboro. Registration opens at 8 a.m. in the picnic pavilion behind the Y.
Registration for the ride is $20 and includes rest stops, support and a post-ride picnic. All proceeds benefit Wilkes County Special Olympics. Special Olympics cycling gold medalist Chris Clarida will lead out the ride.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday!
