Will a list of riders be posted soon? I'm looking for some "tourists" to ride with in the mountainous section of NC (perhaps a 3-4 day tour on the Parkway) and a list of persons signed up for CNC would be helpful. Or perhaps someone could guide me to an electronic list where I could find other slow but steady riders. Thanks

I'm sure there will be a rider list later, but until then, I'll attempt to attach a link to the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club web page here in Asheville.  There are plenty of rider activities in this area--that is group rides, etc. Don't know if you will find any three day trip people, but at least you might find some companions for Parkway rides, or other rides, in the Asheville area.

My husband has put together "warm up" rides on Saturday, the beginning of CNC 2005, around Asheville and the Parkway. We will have several rides available of varying distances and difficulties. Don't know where you live, but a trip to Asheville in the summer makes for wonderful rides. As Tom stated, Blue Ridge Bicycle Clubs' website has quite a few offerings,too. The group my husband and I ride with from Biltmore Baptist Church has weekly Saturday rides of 50+ miles depending on the amount of climbing involved. Hope you can come experience cycling in Western NC prior to CNC.
