Unfortunately, the Battleship will not allow us to camp the Friday before the ride (9/30). Below is a list of campgrounds, if you are interested.

Not planning to camp Friday night, but thanks for the list... "just in case". However, your "list" of motels, unless I'm not looking in the right spot, consists of only one, and an expensive one at that. I did some googling and found a list that range from mid 40's to 80 for a night and not too far from the Battleship. Guess that's where I might head, although haven't reserved or checked them out thoroughly yet.
