I need a ride from Wilmington to the start in Asheville on either Friday afternoon or Saturday.  Willing to purchase extra bus ticket or pay gas.  Includes me, luggage and bike.

I would go to Asheville and ride the bike to Wilmington and take my chances on catching a ride back to Asheville at the end of the ride. Little thing like this makes life interesting to live, the pressure of not knowing.

Arriving in Wil, Fri pm, renting car there and driving to Ashville, short stop in Burlington, have SUV for bikes inside.
You are welcome to ride along.

I may have a bus ticket, but I was also looking at a rental car. The bus ticket may be getting too complicated. Approximately, what time did you plan to arrive in Wilmington? Also, did you plan to drive to Asheville Friday night?
