Bikestock 1 Day of Peace Bikes & Music


CNC riders will spend Sunday night with us in Mt. Airy this year.  We are having a new ride in the county this year called Bikestock. July 31 rides start at 8:00 at Fisher River Park.  12, 34, & 65 mile rides.  5 bands starting at noon until 10:00 pm.  $40.00 for ride and music $30.00 for music only.  Registrations received by July 17 will also get a shirt a cap and Bikestock SMARTSOCKS.  You can shower 3 miles away at Surry Community College then return for the music--KEEP you wristband.  Check out the web site at www.bikestockfest.com .  Acoustic Syndicate is the Top Bill act -that's worth $30 alone.  Come if you can.  We will see you in October if not before.

Will camping (tents)  be allowed for riders coming in from out of town on Friday?

I would like to know also. I hate to get up really early and drive for an hour or two, then rush to signed up or check in. I don,t expect anything special just a place to pitch a tent the night before.

There is camping at Veterans Park in Mt Airy and at a campground called Homeplace.  Both are around 10 miles from Fisher River Park.  Fisher River does not have camping.  Check the lodging link on the web site and lollow it for more info on campgrounds and B&Bs and lodging in and around Mount Airy.

So help me out here. If it's $40 for the ride amd music $30 for just the music then would I be correct in thinking $10 for just the ride?
