Does anyone know if CNC has room to carry my BOB trailer each day on their luggage trucks, or if I will have to give them the BOB bag and then pedal the route with the empty trailer frame ?


This is my first CNC ride. I did the FANY ride (Five hundred across NY) in '04 and they did have room as there were only 120 people on that.  I'm planning to ride an extra week self-supported down the coast to Georgia and toward home in AL, so I need my BOB.

Unfortunately, we are expecting our luggage trucks to be quite full and so we will not be able to haul your BOB trailer for the week.  However, we would like do what we can to help you find accomodations for your trailer.  If you would like, you can contact me at my office 919-361-1133 x6 or you can email me at cyclenc@ncsports.org.

You go, dude! I like your adventurous style!


Maybe Bubba'll carry it for you, or you can hook up with someone else's personal SAG to carry it for ya. Maybe REI'll carry it for ya, or arrange shipping from Cary to Emerald Isle. Maybe you can FedX it from where you arrive to Emerald Isle.


Whatever,  come on and you'll figure something out. Worst case, pull it empty and use it to lug beer from the store to camp for us, OK? hey, I'm in!

thanks for the suggestions, Best bet sounds like to just pull it empty till I find a friend with a personal SAG driver, or maybe it can be bungee'd on the roof, on the spare tire, etc. of the luggage truck without getting in anyones way
