Are there any plans to bring the New River Trail into the town of Pulaski. It just stops about 2 miles from town. I camped at Cliffview campground  near Galax Friday night, then rode with full packs to Pulaski. I was hoping to find a good campground or at least a good hotel Saturday. I found neither. I ended up cycling on to Newbern near Dublin. It was there I found a Holiday Inn. ( much better than a tent ). The next day ,Sunday, I followed some back roads and  got back on the trail at Draper. I guess next time I will start in Pulaski and ride to Galax.

It was a nice ride but the upper half is less develope than the lower part. the whole trail is rich in history
