Can anyone tell me if there is transportation of kind available from the campsite in Emerald Isle to the seafood festival in Morehead City on Saturday?


Looks like it's about 15 miles which is workable with a bike, but I'm wondering whether the traffic/bridge etc will make this problematic.  I would welcome any other information or suggestions.

The road to morehead city is bike rideable.   It's a 2 lane road most of the way.  You do cross a long bridge but not a big deal

Have been to the Seafood Festival several times but by boat.  Great food, entertainment and lots of folks.  If you do ride your bike you will probably want to have some way to lock it up.

people riding bus on sunday were requested to tear down bikes upon arrival sat in emeral isle


  even though we don't board buses until sun am


  that makes it kinda of hard to ride to seafood fest 


 


tearing down bikes by say 7 pm makes sense  tearing down in early afternoon doesnt

Dale, you've made a good point about the bike tear down.  Makes it tough to ride!


Guess if that's the case, I've got to figure out a plan B.
