If anyone from as far as Atlanta or any point south in GA, AL or west FL could give me & bike a ride one-way to the CNC start, I'll gladly pay for your gas and trouble. Also would ask to leave my car near your place till I return after pedaling self-supported back from Emerald Isle.  My other ride option will cost me $60 and 18 hours on a Greyhound bus plus 38 miles from bus station to Banner Elk - and then I'll still have to get on another bus to get home !
