I thought getting to know Asheville area riders would be fun and helpful. I will put up a sign on my tent saying "Asheville." So drop in and introduce yourself. We could share advice, stories, and maybe shampoo or other stuff we forgot.
That sign can do double duty if you mount it on a flagpole on the back of ur bike. If you are a fast rider, start late in the morning and everyone you pass will see ur Asheville - or if u b slow, start early and let the rest of the pack pass you and wish u well ! Say hi to me when u see my Alabama flag when I'm touring out of state, or Old Glory when out of country . Veterans should consider a military service flag . Heres one place to order if ur interested. http://www.united-states-flag.com/smallhandflags.html
Of course Brevard Counts. Great riding around you. Yet bile comes up when I think of climbing 276 from Pisgah Forest to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Glad it's down hill (mostly) to Emerald Isle.
