What is the thought about two boys doing this ride, ages 9 and 10? They would want to be on single bikes, no tandem or trail-a-bike available. Would short-cuts be available for the tough mountain begining? Any others take their kids on such multi-day rides? What should be considered? Than...

Isn't it time again to do the whole thing, Murphy to Manteo? Realize that it takes longer, and is more difficult for CNC to work out logistics, but that ride is THE ride and it needs to be offered occassionally.
