Is ther camping available the night before "10/1" in Sparta?I would like to drop friends and gear there friday night then drive to orient sleep in the truck and catch the mourning bus back and not ever have to ship my bike and gear.

I have not seen a running total of the registered riders like last year. Some one was asking me how close to the cut off the registration was. Without counting the names does anyone know how many regitered riders there are at this point. Procrastination stinks, but I wil not know if I can get the time...

I am in the process of filling out my CNC registration and am having trouble deciding on which transportation option is better, Oreiental to Sparta on 10/2 or on 10/10 at the end of the ride. Any input would be appreciated. -Warren-

I prefer to ride with

good sized groups of riders both for companionship and also for relative safety from the cars. Does it normally happen that riders start out in groups or do they filter off one by one so to speak? Thanks....
