Anybody know if we'll be overnighting in any dry counties? I recall getting rained on all day 2 years ago in Asheboro with no alcohol to be had anywhere. I could probably tolerate one or the other, but both at once nearly did me in.

A man with priorities like my own. I have bought BEER at the Food Lion in Sparta. I am told you can buy all you want in Mt Airy. I know it can be bought in Oriental, over the counter and at a grocery store. The rest I do not know about, but I have friends that live in Stoneville, just outside Eden and I think they would move if they could not buy it there. If you run dry someplace, find me and we will find BEER.

Gentlemen, it is better to BYO. I bring a fully stocked bar, including Scotch, Vodka, Burbon,Rum and wine. Nothing better than an 18 yr. old single malt Scotch with a fine cigar.
