Question about bag limit & tent

The information I have read says two bags with 40 lb limits.   Does a tent also count as one of the bags? confused

Git-er-done,
Yes, that bag number and poundage limit is inclusive of tent, sleeping bag, bed roll, pillow, teddy bear, and all other assorted items one needs for camping!  It ain't as hard as it sounds, but it takes some figuring.

40 pounds in two bags is pretty good. Back before ipods we had to carry 8-track tapes and it was hard to keep it under 40 pounds. :)

Works out pretty well... one bag with your clothes, etc.  one bag with all your camping kit - tent, sleeping bag, camp chair, etc.

usually pretty easy to rinse your cycling clothes out and dry them for re-use.

unless you have a really weird bike, there should be appropriate spares and service available, so no need to carry a bunch of spares and tools...

Git-er-done,
CNC asks that you do not bring bag chairs, either. 2 bags, each under 40 lbs; one for your camping stuff, one for your clothes. Bring some plastic grocery bags for your bike seat, too.  Bring plenty of cash.  Excellent time!
