Hello,

I have plans to get picked up from Mebane rather than staying the night and riding solo to Louisburg to rejoin the group. Do i need to notify the event planners? If so, who? thanks.

There is no bed check. 
Every night some people will sleep with friends or relatives. 

Now if you are not going to pick up your luggage  one  or more nights talk to one of the  luggage drivers. As all luggage gets unloaded every night.

 I'd take a picture of luggage that you could give to the driver  with a tip for making sure it gets reloaded in the truck.
