Can someone provide advice to us Newbies/First Timers on how the shower facilities work at the Camp sites.  Are they on trucks or do we use facilities like a school or park if available.  Is there any electrical power available if we need to re-charge our cell phones or iPods.  If camping is there a place to leave your bike or do people just lay them down by their tents.  Any other info or advise that you feel would be helpful please let us know.  Thanksweirdface.gif

Showers: there will be 2 (hopefully) 18 wheel trailers where the inside has been partitioned into shower stalls.  Water feed from fire hydrant into onboard heaters.  In-door campers usually have access to locker room showers.  BYOTowel or contact Bubba BEFORE you get there.

Don't count on electrical power but people carry chargers out to town with them and try to find a plug while eating, drinking, whatever.  Some indoor camping facilities have had a few plugs.

Some people lock their bikes to fences, posts, neighbors, etc, it depends on the value of your bike compared to all the other bikes around (-8

Biggest camp help IMO is a chair, contact Bubba BEFORE you get there unless you like sitting in the grass for a week.

Don't worry about the showers.  I think the company one year was rubber ducks or something like that.  They are nice showers.  Two stalls in one, the inner stall is the shower, then there is a small stall where you can change in private.  They stay clean.  The quicker you get to camp the less time you have to wait to shower.

They are also open in the morning!  If you are like me a morning shower gets you charged up for the day.  No waiting in the morning smile.gif
