 I'm seeking a ride back to the Asheville/Hendersonville area Saturday after the ride.  I can probably work it out so that my bike gets another ride if you only have room for a person.  Obvious alternative is a Sunday ride. Please call me at 828-884-6434.  Please............

This is probably of minimal or no help but I CAN offer you a ride back to Asheville FROM West Jefferson.  (I am leaving my car there during the trip and taking the bus back on Sunday to get my car.) I have riders going to West Jefferson from Asheville for the beginning of the ride but they have made other arrangements for the ride home so I have space on the return trip. Of course, this would mean your scoring a bus ticket to get you back to West Jefferson on Sunday. As I said, probably of little help but might be a last ditch solution if nothing else can be worked out.

I understood that your priority choice was to get back from Currituck on Saturday, with Sunday from Currituck as a second option.

I just thought that, if nothing else worked, the fallback from the end of the long bus ride to West Jefferson would be better than walking or biking from either place. (-:
