I want to thank Amanda and her staff for a good show last weekend at the Spring Retreat. It was my first retreat, although I've done the fall ride several times. Washington is a great little town and the folks sure were friendly.


I'd also like to tell the board about the 14th annual Murray's Mill Ride, in Catawba NC, coming up on Saturday, June 4th. Go here to get more info:

The GREAT FEED afterwards at the mill is what keeps bringing riders back year after year.

If you live within an hour or so from Hickory, NC, this is a ride you will won't to do.  The food is far above what you usually see, the routes are scenic and interesting, and Murray's Mill is a great place to begin and end a ride.

I would love to do this ride ,but I will be touring the C & O Canal tow path in Maryland that weekend.
