Rather than bother CNC with an email I was wondering if someone can tell me how you plan to get from the finish (Battleship) over to the (Parking Deck). It looks like the only route is accross the Hwy 17/421 bridge. I have driven that in a car and would not enjoy this on a bicycle. Any thoughts or optional routes for a bike from the Wilmington crowd?

There is a water taxi that shuttles back and forth between the battleship and the Wilmington waterfront.  I believe it could probably accommodate your bike.  The cost is minimal.  You can go to www.cfrboats.com for details.

   When we finished at the battleship in 2000, they had a shuttlebus that took us to where our cars were parked.  You then drove back and picked up your gear and bike.
