If you haven't entered ICE into your cell phone this might be a good time to do so.  ICE --IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. 


By entering the acronym ICE – for In Case of Emergency – into the mobile’s phone book, users can log the name and number of someone who should be contacted in an emergency.


The idea follows research carried out by Vodafone that shows more than 75 per cent of people carry no details of who they would like telephoned following a serious accident.


“It’s difficult to know who to call. Someone might have “mum” in their phone book but that doesn’t mean they’d want them contacted in an emergency.


“Almost everyone carries a mobile phone now, and with ICE we’d know immediately who to contact and what number to ring. The person may even know of their medical history.”


I know this is going to be a great ride and no one is going to get hurt but just in case.

I did this a while back and the added idea is to list it as (_ICE) that first thing is a space. This will make it the first entry in your phone book. This way in an emergency they want need to look for it it will be the first thing they see.

Good idea, but I do it the old fashioned way...I made a small brass tag at Walmart for 5 bucks that has my name, and wife's cell and work #s on it. I attached it to my seat bag, and it's always there, no charge req'd, and can't be damaged in a wreck.


Old idea from when I was a runner years ago.


Let's consider this Plan B...
