i think that  a perfect place to have the spring retreat 2006 is in Whiteville N.C.  those people down there are so nice and they really love bikes....and some really good places to ride.......and another good place is in  Wilmington  N.C.  there alot alot of beaches to ride to and also southport and a ferry ride............

Don't forget one of the points of CNC is to help tourism for the entire state, not just the friendly towns we have already visited.

I bet there are a dozen towns that could really impress everyone, just need to work out the logistics!

i agree  but  Whiteville and Wilmington are 2 towns that we had never had the spring retreat. but Wilmington would be the exact place just what you were mentioning...and let don't forget that............

What about a more centrally located place in the center of the state?

How about Asheboro. Good riding in and around the area and it is dead center of the state.

It will be Asheboro on the 21- 23 April, (To Bad - Dry County – no ride).  Maybe I will do a spring ride in 07.

The 3rd Annual CNC Spring Retreat Host City has been determined and the planning of the ride is in full swing.  Asheboro, NC will be this year's location for the three day event, which is tentatively scheduled for April 21-23, 2006.  Registration will be open in January so check back soon for more information!

Everybody and everything that normally has an event during the middle of April has moved it to April 21-23 because Easter is on the middle weekend.  Compound that with the events that are normal the weekend after Easter and the events that are scheduled the weekend after the high use middle weekend and I have 4 conflicts for that weekend of the Spring Retreat.  Does anyone else have a conflict?
