CNC has buses that for a fee you can take either before cycling to the start or after the cycling to the start. So basically you can park at the starting point or the end point and have no problem getting to your car. Does that help?

What is your starting point? In the past, in addition to the bus from Cary to starting point and endpoint to Cary there is a bus from endpoint to starting point (before the ride) and from endpoint to starting point (after the ride). All these bus fees include transportation of your bike in a truck. So you can leave a car in Banner Elk or Emerald Isle.

If you are flying into Raleigh consider shipping your bike to REI Cary, flying into RDU and doing the bus to startpoint and endpoint back to Cary. This is documented somewhere but I can't find it now, perhaps a call to CNC HQ will help.
