There used to be an eight week training schedule on the old CNC web site.  Does anyone know if it is still available?

warren,

i,m not sure if it is on the web site, but you may try calling cnc directly and perhaps they have a copy of it to send to you.

good luck with your training!

Thanks Felicia.  I found a copy of the training schedule that I printed a while back.

Is that training schedule something that could be shared/reposted?

Edie - who'll be riding this for the first time this year.

Here it is, Edie.  I'll also put it up as a new subject.  I used it about 75% to prep for the MS 150, and it sure helped.

I didn't see the training schedule last year until after I began training for my first CNC ride. My husband just made sure I spent as much time on the bike as possible, and we did several 20-35 mile rides. The longest distance I had done was 42 miles. I was able to go from a non-cyclist to a CNC rider from August 11 to Oct. 9 with no problems. Good luck with your training and make enjoyment a top priority. Oh by the way, I think Ultracycling.com also has some training schedules for long distance cycling. MARCIA
