Cycle North Carolina Spring Ride goes back to the Coast! Edenton hosted the inaugural CNC Spring Ride and has been selected to the host the 2007 event April 13-15, 2007. Historic Edenton will welcome cyclists from all over the United States for a weekend of cycling, waterfront entertainment and great food. Edenton provides a piece of history to those who visit with the beautiful historic district, restored colonial home tours, bed and breakfast inns, fine restaurants, waterfront ambiance, trolley tours and much more. This will be a weekend of biking and relaxation while enjoying friends in this quaint town amidst the Albemarle Sound.
There will be fun for whole family throughout the Spring Ride weekend, including
great cycling, kayaking, canoeing, a taste of Edenton, boat rides and tours, live bands, waterfront beverage gardens, sailing and off shore fishing opportunities. Dust off the cobwebs and spring into the cycling season with an exciting weekend in Edenton, NC.
Routes of varying distances will be offered for all levels of cyclists. Tentative route distances will be 5 miles, 25 miles, 45 miles, 65 miles and 100 miles. Routes will be very flat with minimal traffic in a beautiful, tranquil atmosphere on coastal North Carolina. You can register to ride all three days, two days or just one day.
